We have tested many USB digital interface boards, Amanero Combo384 and Combo768 are still so far the best sound quality and most compatible one. 

So we are very glad to announce that IanCanada is now the Amanero official distributor in Canada and North American.

The 2024 new released higher grade Combo768 is also first time available in North American on iancanada.ca

Note:

1. To avoid any trouble, please use the #70D (or #70B) if you don't have soldering skill.

2.  Be very careful when you install the connector. Shifting pins at wrong positions can cause short circuit, which can not be covered by warranty.

#70E. Amanero Combo768 with Slave Mode Firmware and Pre-Assembled Connector

The same as #70D, except that the firmware is pre-flashed to Slave Clock mode. It can work directly with ComboMaster, FifoPiUSB, or other external MCLK/reclocking solutions.

You can also flash #70D to Slave Clock mode yourself by following this step-by-step guide.

However, for normal applications, such as ReceiverPiDDC or FifoPi Q Series, please use #70D rather than #70E.

#70K. Amanero U.FL adapter

It will be highly recommended to use U.FL cables if you connect an Amanero USB directly to your DAC for a much better signal quality and lower jitter levels, especially for music higher than PCM 192KHz or DSD128.

You can also use it to feed external MCLK signals when Amanero USB works in slave clock mode.

The Amanero U.FL adapter works for both Combo768 and Combo384 with DIP connector at top side of the PCB. 

Note: Please follow the picture for the installation. Please don't reverse the orientation.

#70M. ComboMaster USB MCLK/Re-clock/Isolator Upgrade KIT

ComboMaster is a dedicated isolated re-clocker with swappable external clocks. It is specifically designed for the Combo768 (in slave mode) to enhances sound quality by overcoming the limitations of the onboard clock architecture.
The ComboMaster features galvanic isolation to completely isolate the USB data signals and ground, reducing noise and interference from the USB source. It also utilizes higher performance local master clocks to re-clock the output of the Combo768, allowing the USB audio stream to benefit from them instead of the Combo768's onboard default oscillators.
As a result, the Combo768 operates using the superior external clock source, delivering improved timing accuracy, lower jitter, and enhanced overall audio performance.

Note:

  1. 45.1584 MHz and 49.1520 MHz clocks are not included in the ComboMaster KIT. Any high-quality compatible user clocks with the same frequencies are good to go. For ultra-low-phase-noise clocks, please find the options available here.
  2. ComboMaster needs to work with #70E Slave Clock Mode Combo768. But you can also flash the FW of #70C or #70D into Slave mode by yourself by following this Guidance
